Fertility Tourism in Mexico: Holistic, Emotional Support for the Journey

A small green painted turtle figure with a face on its shell sits in dark soil under leaves, Lunita Jungle Retreat

For many couples, the path to parenthood is tender and complex. Fertility tourism in Mexico is growing as some seek compassionate, affordable, and integrative environments. Here it's vital to be clear: medical fertility treatment comes only from licensed clinics, while Lunita offers holistic, emotional support for the journey. (See why Lunita.)

What are the two different kinds of support?

Medical fertility care, IVF, IUI, and related treatments, is provided exclusively by qualified clinics and doctors. Separately, a wellness retreat can offer something the clinical side often can't: space to rest the nervous system, soften stress, and hold the emotional reality of this chapter with care. Lunita lives firmly in this second space.

Gentle support, alongside your care

At Lunita the fertility path centers on womb healing and restoration, held with rest and ceremony. You can read what the fertility retreat at Lunita holds, and what it leaves to your doctors, before you decide.

Lunita is not a medical provider; it offers a nourishing, calming environment to support your wellbeing as you pursue treatment elsewhere. Important: Lunita offers complementary emotional, spiritual, and wellness support, it is not a medical or fertility provider, and this is not medical advice. A retreat does not diagnose, treat, or cure infertility, and does not by itself change fertility outcomes. It is meant to support your wellbeing alongside care from qualified fertility and medical professionals. Explore a personal retreat or book a discovery call.

In short

Frequently asked questions

What is fertility tourism in Mexico?

Fertility tourism refers to traveling to another country for fertility-related care or support. Mexico has become a destination some couples consider, often citing cost and a warm, integrative environment. It's important to separate two things: medical fertility treatment (provided only by licensed clinics and doctors) and holistic, emotional support for the journey. Lunita offers the latter, wellness and emotional support, not medical treatment.

How does Lunita fit into a fertility journey?

As complementary support, not medical care. Lunita can offer a calm, nourishing space to rest, reduce stress, and tend to the emotional weight a fertility journey often carries, alongside, never instead of, the care of qualified fertility specialists.

What is fertility tourism?

Travelling to another country for fertility treatment, usually for cost or access reasons, with the medical care provided by clinics and doctors there. A wellness retreat is a separate thing that can sit alongside it, offering rest and emotional support during a demanding chapter. Lunita is not a medical or fertility provider, and a retreat does not diagnose, treat or cure infertility or change outcomes.
