The circle
The work that happens at Lunita is held by people who carry it. Practitioners with their own traditions, lineages, and lifelong studies, from different ancestries and different paths. Some were born into the work; others were called into it.
What they share is a relationship with this place. They've held ceremony here, taught here, returned here. They're part of how Lunita actually functions, not a list, a circle.
To work with any of them at Lunita, you'll book through us. We pair you with the right person for what you're carrying.

Alma is a holistic therapist, facilitator, and coach who came to this work through an unusual door: more than a decade in human and organizational development, the world of conscious leadership and how groups actually change, before six-plus years of guiding holistic practice full-time. The result is a facilitator who bridges two languages most practitioners only speak one of: the structured world of personal development and the older world of ancestral practice.
Her toolbox is wide on purpose. Depending on what a guest is carrying, a session with Alma might draw on Yoga Nidra, sound therapy, meditation, Neo Emotional Release (NER), somatic practices, or Ayurveda, and for those who want them, she offers astrology and Tzolkin readings from the Maya calendar tradition. The range isn't decoration; it's how she meets each person where they actually are, rather than where a single method assumes them to be.
What guests describe first, though, isn't the toolbox. It's the room she makes: a space of unconditional acceptance, where being fully seen comes before anything else happens.
At Lunita, Alma holds one-on-one and small-group sessions within hosted and personal retreats: Yoga Nidra and sound journeys, NER and somatic work, Ayurvedic guidance, and readings on request. Like everyone in the circle, she's booked through us: tell us what you're working with, and we'll propose her when she's the right hands.

A descendant of the Zapotec people of Oaxaca, Edgar lives in Puerto Morelos, ten minutes from Lunita. He has been a guide and ceremony holder for more than twenty years, carrying four distinct lineages he was personally called into and blessed to hold.
Niños Santos: The sacred mushroom ceremony of the Mazatec tradition, following the tradition of María Sabina in Huautla de Jiménez, Oaxaca. Edgar is a guardian of the ritual of the Holy Children.
4 Tabacos / 4 Prayers: Edgar is the guardian of the altar of this ceremony, blessed by Nana Ana and Tata Juvenal Becerra, in the Otomí/Conchera lineage (descendants of the Chichimecas, with Wirarika Kawiteros grandparents).
Pudzyah: The ancestral Maya ceremonial massage, transmitted to Edgar directly by Grandfather Maya Antonio Oxté.
Maya blessing: Received from the H-men Grandfather Maya Dionisio of Sisbicchen, Yucatán.
At Lunita, Edgar guides ayahuasca, bufo, kambo, the 4 Tabacos ceremony, the sacred mushrooms, and wisdom circles. The ceremonies he holds are not standalone offerings; they're held within retreats, hosted or personal, with care, preparation, and integration shaped to each group's intention.

She also runs Lunita's online community women's circle, which meets every two weeks, alternating with Gerald's men's circle. Esperanza's women's circle →
For the moments where the questions are bigger than the body or older than the heart, Esperanza is the one we'd send you to.

A Mexican artist and facilitator from the lineage of those who weave intention into form, Faby works with the materials her ancestors worked with (cacao, clay, sound, color) and the traditions still alive in Mexico today. Her brand is Caminando con Flores (“Walking with Flowers”), and her tagline says everything: “Siempre hay flores para quien lleva semillas en su corazón”, “there are always flowers for the one who carries seeds in their heart.”
Cacao ceremony: Cacao & Sonido: calling cacao by its older names: Cacahuatl (Nahuatl), Kakaw (Maya), Theobroma cacao (food of the gods).
Sound healing: Both at the meditation area and at the pool, where sound played from the edge of the water reaches you through the water itself. Sonido en el agua, sound in the water, exists only here.
Sound Healing Elementos: A five-element session.
Mandala painting + sound: Meditative art with live sound.
Body awareness, movement, and meditation: Reconocimiento de mi Cuerpo, an embodiment practice.
Ojo de Dios: The traditional Mexican weaving workshop, intention woven into thread.
Clay experience: Working clay with your hands as a practice in itself.
Faby's work is for the part of you that learns through your hands, your ears, and the older languages your body still remembers.

Gerald is the founder of The Inner Mirror and co-founder of OWL Trust, Our World Legacy. He came to this work through a long, experiential path, certifying in specific modalities along the way rather than inheriting them by birth.
His approach is the quietest on this page, not about fixing, not about forcing change. About being a grounded, compassionate field for whatever someone needs to walk through.
QHHT: Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique: The practice founded by Dolores Cannon. A guided hypnosis session that opens space for parts of yourself you don't usually have access to.
Sacred Union Ceremony: Held through OWL Trust, for couples and partnerships.
Gerald also runs Lunita's online community men's circle, which meets every two weeks, alternating with Esperanza's women's circle. Gerald's men's circle →
If you're at a turning point you can't quite name yet, Gerald is one of the people to sit with.

Based in Pueblo, Colorado, Kierra is the founder of Sacred Ascension Academy. She identifies herself as a fifth-generation psychic and healer and a seventh-generation medicine woman, working in the Lakota way of life and what she describes as a connection to the star nations.
She has practiced for many years, holding certifications and teacher training in Reiki and developing her own framework for what she calls quantum recoding.
Reiki: Full Reiki Master practice, including teacher training for those called to learn the lineage themselves.
Quantum recoding sessions: Her own framework for energy work and pattern change.
Psychic and multidimensional gift development: For those who feel they carry abilities they haven't yet learned to use.
Ascension and energy work: Broader sessions in the Lakota-influenced path she practices.
Business mentoring for healers: Guidance for practitioners building their own work in the world.

If you've felt a pull toward energy work or your own intuitive practice, Kierra is the one for that conversation.

Dr. Gerald C. Hassell, Psy.D. — "Dr. G" — is a father, psychologist, author, and Self Mastery practitioner with 25+ years in human development. He consults with clients worldwide, from Singapore to San Diego.
He defines Self Mastery as the practice of disciplining the mind and body for spiritual growth and service to others. The philosophy was born from lived experience: at his lowest point, after days of fasting, solitude, and deep spiritual communion, he received the insights that became The Seven Keys to Self Mastery. That experience lifted him out of profound despair and set him on a path to reclaim his power and help others do the same.
Today, Dr. G blends psychology, spirituality, and neuroplasticity to help clients overcome limiting patterns, heal trauma, and build lives of clarity, strength, and purpose. His book and personal coaching give clients practical tools for a daily practice that frees the mind and aligns them with their highest calling.
He is co-creator of Self Mastery Retreats International and hosts transformational retreats in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
The facilitators on this page are the ones working with Lunita most steadily right now. Others come for specific retreats, specific seasons, specific calls, practitioners we've come to trust over years of holding ceremony together.
If you're a leader hosting at Lunita and want to bring in someone from beyond this list (your own facilitators, your own teachers, your own healers) that's always welcome. The circle is open. It just starts here.
