The voice of the land
“Places don't hold people. People hold places. I just grew the trees.”
— Lunita
A retreat center is its land for a day and its people forever after. This page is the map of ours: the facilitators who hold the work, the family who built the place, the team who runs it, the leaders who keep coming back, and the circles that keep the community breathing between retreats.

Six practitioners form Lunita's resident circle (Alma, Edgar, Esperanza, Faby, Gerald, and Kierra) holistic therapy, plant medicine and wisdom traditions, women's work, bodywork, sound, and energy practice, each with their own lineage and their own page. They're who we propose from when you tell us what you're working with.
Meet them properly: The facilitators
Lunita is family-built and family-run: Nico and Lorenza, son and mother, photographer and businesswoman, Italian roots in Mexican jungle. Their story is the About page. Around them, the team that actually makes a retreat feel effortless: Jhony and the crew (kitchen, grounds, transfers, the thousand invisible details) present daily, on the property around the clock. The team
Between retreats, the community doesn't dissolve. It moves online. Lunita holds ongoing men's and women's circles: regular online gatherings, held by Lunita facilitators, where the work that starts in the jungle keeps a rhythm at home. They're also the gentlest first door into the community. Many guests sit in a circle before they ever book a flight.
Men's circle (held by Gerald) · Women's circle (held by Esperanza) · alternating weekly · open to all. See both on the circles hub, or write us at info@lunitajungleretreat.com
More than a hundred retreats have been hosted here, and sixteen leaders have come back to host again: teachers, healers, and guides who arrived as clients and became part of the place. If you're one of the people who might: Host a retreat · How we support you
Beyond the property line, Lunita keeps a working network of facilitators, healers, and local experts across the Riviera Maya, the people we call when a retreat needs an experience that doesn't live here yet, and usually find. And around all of it, the guest community: more than 4,100 newsletter subscribers and a social community past 40,000, many of them alumni of these cabanas.
