What the setting does for a group
A group arrives from three time zones and one airport. Forty minutes later the road narrows into the Ruta de los Cenotes and the signal thins, and by the gate at Km 17 the group has already gone quieter than it was in the terminal.
The land does the first day for you. More than 80,000 square meters of preserved jungle around 5,000 built; dark nights; cenote water. The facilitator who would have spent the first evening settling people finds them settled.

Getting here and what to expect on arrival
