Most medicine retreats are a week. This one is eight, and the week in the jungle sits in the middle of it, on purpose.
Tiger Soul Medicine Retreats brings the Liberation Program to Lunita Jungle Retreat Center for the first time in January 2027: eight guided sessions online, four before and four after, wrapped around five days in person at Lunita for the ceremonies themselves.
You arrive with your preparation already done. You leave with the integration already scheduled.
The shape of the eight weeks
Before. Four online sessions, January 4 to 18, on Mondays and one Thursday. Seeing the conditioning you inherited from family, school and screens. Shadow work and the inner child. A body that can hold the work: nervous system, breath, movement. And an honest introduction to the medicines, their origins, preparation, ceremony and safety, so nothing at Lunita is a surprise.
The week. January 21 to 25 at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center. The ceremonies, with your preparation behind you. Cabanas in the jungle, meals prepared for the group, pool fed with cenote water, and the practices between: breathwork, movement, sound, circles.
After. Four online sessions on Mondays, February 1 to 22. Coming home. Rewriting the old stories with new daily practices. Relationships, boundaries, forgiveness. Purpose.
The five days at Lunita
- Day one. Arrival, a shared dinner, the opening circle: what called you here, your intention, the agreements that hold the group. An offering to the land, and a rapé ceremony to close the night.
- Day two. Kambo in the morning, then rest. In the afternoon, teaching on Bufo and the ceremonial process, followed by a gently facilitated first meeting with the medicine and immersive sound. Pool, sun, dinner, integration circle.
- Day three. Gentle movement, then an extended breathwork journey. The afternoon holds the central Bufo (5-MeO-DMT) ceremony, each person held one at a time, with unhurried time after. Dinner and a second integration circle.
- Day four. A morning at a cenote. Rest at Lunita, then a traditional temazcal at the coast and the Caribbean afterward to cool the body. Dinner, a final circle, the closing ceremony.
- Day five. Breakfast, a last morning together, departure. The retreat ends; the program continues online.
Safety, said plainly
Every ceremony is optional, and every participant goes through a full medical and psychological screening before the program begins. Tiger Soul's facilitators approve each person for each ceremony individually, and an integration circle follows every medicine day.
That is also how Lunita Jungle Retreat Center works: an honest intake first, a prepared setting, and integration built in, never bolted on.
Who holds it
Tiger Soul Medicine Retreats is led by Blaine, and holds retreats and Bufo practitioner trainings in Mexico. Ceremonies at Lunita are held by Tiger Soul's facilitators, with Lunita's team holding the land, the meals, the transfers and the days between.
Applications open now for the January 2027 cohort. Every application is read personally, and there is a call before anything is confirmed.

A day at the retreat
- 7:30 Wake in your cabana to the jungle. Tea, quiet, journaling.
- 8:30 Gentle movement in the shala to wake the body.
- 9:30 Breakfast with the group.
- 10:30 Extended breathwork journey, guided.
- 13:00 Lunch, then rest by the pool.
- 15:00 The Bufo ceremony, one person at a time, with space to lie down and be after.
- 18:30 Dinner.
- 20:00 Integration circle. Early night.
