About this retreat

A retreat with no fixed program, because the program is you.

Most retreats ask you to fit their schedule.

A private retreat at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center is built the other way round: your dates, your pace, your reasons for coming.

You arrive alone, as a couple, or with your family, into a small solar powered sanctuary of eight cabanas in the jungle of the Riviera Maya, 40 minutes from Cancún airport.

The land holds twenty guests at most. For a private stay, that smallness is the point: solitude, couple time, or family privacy are real here, not relative.

Three ways a private retreat can unfold

Co-created with you. The most personal format. Before you arrive, we talk through what you are carrying and what you hope to leave with. Then you receive a written proposal: a day-by-day structure, the sessions and ceremonies chosen for you, and a clear price. You change anything you like. One guest swapped a ceremony for a second of another kind after a single call. That is how it is meant to work.

Self-guided, at your own rhythm. You take a cabana, you take the menu, and you follow your intuition. Yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, massage, reiki, temazcal, creative workshops, cenote journeys, all on the service menu. Book what calls you, day by day. We hold the space.

Signature pathways, with gentle guidance. A private journey around one theme, for one person, a couple, or a family: clarity, emotional reconnection, stress release, spiritual awakening, family harmony. Structure without rigidity.

The support is the difference

A private retreat is not a hotel stay with classes attached.

From your first call to the weeks after you leave, you are held by people whose only job is your retreat.

A coordinator designs the days with you and adjusts them as the week reveals what you actually need.

Facilitators bring yoga, breathwork, sound, bodywork, energy work and creative practice. Ceremony keepers hold the sacred spaces.

Before you fly, you receive a packing list and your airport pickup details, and your transfer is confirmed with the driver a day or two ahead.

Where a retreat includes sacred medicine, an honest intake comes first: your facilitator reviews your health and any medication with you before anything is confirmed, because some things interact and we would rather plan around them than discover them on the day.

What the days can hold

Ceremony and ancestral practice. Temazcal sweat lodge, limpia (shamanic cleansing), sobada Purépecha bodywork, cacao ceremony, Mayan blessing, womb blessing, women's circle.

Inner work. Sacred breath and somatic release, quantum healing hypnosis (QHHT), sound healing, reiki, bio-tuning, energy alignment, emotional integration.

Body and stillness. Yoga, meditation, yoga nidra, embodied movement, massage, ice bath.

Sacred medicine. Psilocybin mushroom, bufo alvarius, kambo and ayahuasca ceremonies, each in its own prepared container with intake, intention setting and integration, for those called to them.

Creative. Mandala art, movement and dance, drum making, ojo de dios, natural cosmetics, feminine embodiment.

Out on the land. A private cenote ten minutes away, the beaches of Tulum, Holbox and Isla Mujeres, the ruins of Cobá, Chichén Itzá and Ek Balam, snorkelling, a taco tour.

How an eight night solo retreat has unfolded

One shape, drawn from a real retreat, with the guest's details left out.

  • Day one. Arrival and a soft opening.
  • Day two. Purification: temazcal in the morning, limpia in the afternoon.
  • Day three. Grounding: yoga and meditation, then sobada bodywork.
  • Day four. A full day held for a QHHT session, the afternoon open for reflection.
  • Day five. The feminine: womb blessing in the morning, women's circle in the afternoon.
  • Day six. A full day held for a mushroom ceremony, quiet before, supported throughout.
  • Day seven. Integration: yoga, then the cenote.
  • Day eight. A second ceremony day, or rest, depending on what the week has shown.
  • Day nine. Sacred breath and somatic release to gather it all, a last meal, and the drive to the airport.

Couples and families follow the same logic with different ingredients: shared rituals, relational sessions, family yoga, cenote days, and evenings around the fire.

How it works

  1. Tell us your dates, who is coming, and what brings you, through the form below.
  2. We talk, briefly. A call is where the shape of the retreat appears.
  3. You receive a written proposal: day by day, the sessions chosen for you, every price on its own line. Change anything.
  4. A deposit of half the accommodation and meals holds your cabana and dates. Then preparation starts: packing list, pickup details, and an honest intake if ceremony is part of your week.

Share your dates and what brings you. We will come back with a first sketch of your retreat.

What's included

  • Your private cabana at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center, on solar power in 80,000 square metres of preserved jungle
  • Three meals a day, prepared for your retreat and your dietary needs, with coffee and tea throughout
  • A dedicated coordinator from first call to integration, including your packing list and pickup details
  • The sessions, practices and ceremonies chosen for your retreat design
  • Airport transfers arranged with trusted local drivers and confirmed before you fly
  • The pool fed with cenote water, the Crystal Shala, the gardens, the fire pit and the ceremony spaces under the canopy

Who it is for

Solo travellers who want time held by others rather than time alone with a schedule. Couples looking for reconnection, depth, or simply a week with nothing to manage. Families who want nature, play and real time together, with wellness for every age. Anyone who has done a group retreat and now wants the same care shaped around one person. And people called to sacred medicine who want a prepared, screened, integrated setting rather than a ceremony alone.

A day at the retreat

  • 7:30 Wake to birdsong. Coffee or cacao on your cabana terrace.
  • 8:30 Yoga or breathwork in the Crystal Shala, private or with your partner or family.
  • 10:00 Breakfast in the open air kitchen, prepared to your dietary needs.
  • 11:00 The session chosen for today: sobada bodywork, sound healing, a creative workshop, or the private cenote.
  • 13:30 Lunch, then the long jungle afternoon: pool, hammock, book, nap.
  • 16:30 Temazcal, a limpia, or family time in the pool.
  • 19:00 Dinner. Fire, stars, an early night, or a ceremony evening when your retreat includes one.
  • Every day is different. This is one shape of many.

Not included

  • Flights and travel insurance
  • Alcohol
  • Excursions outside the property and personal purchases, unless part of your retreat design
  • Sacred medicine ceremonies, which are arranged individually after intake and screening and priced separately

Questions

What is a private retreat at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center?
A private retreat at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center is a fully custom stay for one person, a couple, or a family, designed around your intentions rather than a fixed program. You choose between a co-created retreat built with a coordinator, a self-guided retreat where you pick from a menu of 58 experiences at your own pace, or a signature pathway around one theme such as reconnection, clarity or stress release. The center is a small solar powered sanctuary of eight cabanas in the jungle of the Riviera Maya near Puerto Morelos, Mexico, holding twenty guests at most, so a private retreat means real privacy, with facilitators and ceremony keepers who work only for your stay.
When can I book a private retreat?
Private retreats at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center run in the open windows between our hosted group retreats, throughout the year. The dates on this page are the next available windows; others open as the calendar moves, and a stay can be as short as three nights or as long as you need. Because each retreat is designed individually, we confirm dates after a short conversation about your group and intentions. If you have fixed travel dates, share them first and we will tell you honestly whether the land is free and which facilitators are available in that week, so your retreat is built on real availability rather than a hope.
Where is Lunita Jungle Retreat Center and how do I get there?
Lunita Jungle Retreat Center sits at Ruta de los Cenotes Km 17, Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, Mexico, about 40 minutes by road from Cancún International Airport. Transfers are arranged with trusted local drivers, confirmed a day or two before you fly, and met at arrivals. The center is 5,000 square metres built inside more than 80,000 square metres of preserved jungle, fully solar powered, with a pool fed with cenote water, the Crystal Shala for yoga and ceremony, and access to a private cenote ten minutes away through a partner center. Founded in 2022, it has hosted more than 120 retreats and holds a 4.9 star rating on Google from over 140 reviews.
What does a private retreat cost?
There is no fixed price, because there is no fixed retreat. Most private retreats at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center run three to five nights and come to between roughly 1,800 and 4,000 US dollars all in, depending on how many people are coming, which cabana you choose, and how many sessions, ceremonies and excursions you design in. Accommodation with three meals a day is one line, every session and ceremony is priced individually, and the airport transfer is another, so a self-guided stay sits at the low end and a co-created retreat with daily private sessions and ceremony at the top. Your written proposal shows every line before you decide, and a 50 percent deposit on accommodation and meals holds your cabana and dates.
How do I book a private retreat?
Booking a private retreat at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center starts with the inquiry form on this page: your dates, who is coming, and what brings you. We reply with a short call, and after the call you receive a written proposal with a day-by-day structure, the sessions chosen for you, and a clear price. Change anything. When it feels right, a deposit of half the accommodation and meals holds your cabana and dates, by bank transfer or Wise with no fee, or by card; the balance is settled before or during your stay. Then preparation begins: packing list, pickup details, and an honest intake if your retreat includes sacred medicine.

Take your place.
