This 11 day Art & Healing Jungle Retreat is a journey to rewild, ground, and reconnect with Mother Earth. Together, we’ll awaken our spirit, ignite our creativity, and rediscover our magic in the heart of the Mayan jungle. Whether you’re navigating stress, pain, or past traumas, this transformative experience will be a sanctuary of healing and connection. In the company of like-minded women, we’ll create, heal, and rekindle the vibrant, creative energy within us all.

You’ll have ample time to paint and connect with nature, dive into rejuvenating yoga sessions, experience ancient ceremonies, and immerse yourself in healing sound baths. What was the Soul Rewilding retreat?
Soul Rewilding was an 11-day Art & Healing Jungle Retreat hosted at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center: a journey to rewild, ground, and reconnect with Mother Earth. In the company of like-minded women, the group created, healed, and rekindled the vibrant, creative energy within, awakening spirit, igniting creativity, and rediscovering magic in the heart of the Mayan jungle. The retreat welcomed women navigating stress, pain, or past traumas, offering, in its own words, a sanctuary of healing and connection where each moment blended inspiration and tranquility.
When did Soul Rewilding take place?
Soul Rewilding ran from February 1 to February 11, 2026 at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center near Puerto Morelos, Mexico: eleven days, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on arrival day and closing at 11:00 a.m. on the final morning. Eleven days is long for a retreat, and deliberately so: an art practice needs time to open, and the rhythm of painting, ceremony, and rest across a week and a half let the creative work deepen rather than rush. The retreat has concluded, and its page remains as part of the story of what the jungle has held at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center.
What did the retreat include?
The days held ample time to paint and connect with nature, rejuvenating yoga sessions, ancient ceremonies, and immersive healing sound baths. Between sessions the group relaxed by the outdoor pool at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center, explored nearby sacred natural sites, and savored the Mayan white-sand beaches of the coast. The combination was the point: creativity and healing feeding each other, with the jungle providing raw material for both. Painting happened surrounded by the greens it was trying to capture, and the ceremonies grounded the creative opening the art practice produced.
Where was Soul Rewilding held?
Soul Rewilding was held at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center, Ruta de los Cenotes Km 17, Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, Mexico, about 40 minutes by road from Cancún International Airport. The center is an intimate, fully solar-powered venue for twenty guests, 5,000 square metres built inside 80,000 square metres of preserved jungle, with an outdoor pool fed with cenote water and ceremony spaces beneath the canopy. The Mayan jungle setting was woven into the retreat itself: nature as subject, studio, and sanctuary at once, with the white-sand beaches of the Riviera Maya close enough for the days that called for the sea.
