About this retreat

This intensive, hands-on training is a practical and embodied approach to Honey Therapy as one of the most innovative ways of working with honey available today.

Certification for therapists, bodyworkers, healers, and wellness practitioners, this certification goes beyond theory and focuses on direct experience, application, and integration.

Participants learn how to work with honey as a living substance, using contemporary methods that respond to the needs of the body, the nervous system, and the times we are living in.

Throughout the training, participants will learn:

  • • How to use honey on the skin in safe, effective. Self healing Honey Ritual and back honey massage.
  • • Hands-on techniques and applications that support deep relaxation and body awareness
  • • How honey Apis and Meliponini, interacts with the nervous system, touch, and sensory perception
  • • Emotional and somatic responses commonly activated through honey therapy
  • • Ways to integrate honey therapy into existing professional treatments and wellness offerings.

Honey therapy is something new but ancient — we will remember why it seems so familiar and exiting.

Participants complete the intensive with practical tools, embodied knowledge, and a Honey Therapy Certification, allowing them to offer this modality in a way that is relevant, grounded, and truly deep.

Where was the certification held?
The certification was held at Lunita Jungle Retreat Center, Ruta de los Cenotes Km 17, Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, Mexico, about 40 minutes by road from Cancún International Airport. The center is an intimate, fully solar-powered venue for twenty guests inside 80,000 square metres of preserved jungle. For a touch-based, sensory training, the setting did quiet work: treatment spaces surrounded by jungle sound rather than city noise, and the unhurried pace of the land matching the deep relaxation the honey work teaches.
