At Lunita it's offered as a sacred, non-explicit experience inspired by these traditions: through movement, breath, sound, and intention, it invites participants to awaken and embody feminine essence, vitality, and empowerment. It's held with respect for the lineage it draws from.

It's inspired by the concept of Shakti from Hindu and Tantric traditions, offered in a contemporary ceremonial form rather than claimed as an ancient initiatory lineage. It's non-sexual and focused on energy, embodiment, and empowerment. We name its roots with respect and don't present it as something it isn't.

The ceremony moves through breath, sound, movement and stillness, held in a circle rather than performed at you. Nothing is asked of you beyond arriving; you can take part as fully or as quietly as you want. It usually runs for an hour or two and closes with time to rest before the day continues.

No, the ceremony is open to anyone drawn to it. Shakti is understood as a creative life force rather than a gender, so the circle is not restricted by one. If a particular ceremony is held for women only, that is said before you book rather than discovered on the day.
