That is the only reason this page exists. We are not going to describe a path we have watched from the doorway.
What does the training actually involve?
Thirteen days, in two halves.
The first days are not training at all. They are your own healing, your own ceremonies, your own clearing. Only after that does the second half begin, where you learn intake, holding a room, safety, and how to guide someone through integration afterward.
You sit before you serve, and here that is the actual timetable rather than a slogan.
Thirteen days is also long enough that you cannot perform your way through it. Somewhere in the middle, whoever you were being on day one stops being available to you. That is not an unfortunate side effect of the length. It is most of what the length is for.
Who is it for?
Facilitators who already work with sacred medicine.
That is not a preference, it is the entry requirement. This is a training in how to hold 5-MeO-DMT for other people. It assumes you already know what it is to hold a room, to sit with someone in difficulty, and to keep your own state steady while somebody else's comes apart.
If you have that, this is a next step.
Who is it not for?
People new to plant medicine. People who want a credential quickly. People who have had one enormous experience and concluded they are meant to guide others through it.
That last one is the most common and the hardest to hear, so we will say it plainly. A profound experience with a medicine qualifies you to have had it. It does not qualify you to give it to a stranger.
Bufo moves fast and it does not negotiate. The gap between a facilitator who is ready and one who is nearly ready is not visible until the moment it matters.
Why does the screening go both ways?
Any training worth doing will screen you before it takes your money. Blaine's does, before an application is even accepted.
Screening is not a formality and it is not a sales call. It is the first thing being modelled for you, because screening is most of the job. If a training does not screen its own students, ask yourself what it will be teaching about screening participants.
And it does not stop at the door. Blaine's own position, stated plainly on his site, is that finishing the thirteen days does not by itself certify you to serve. You are assessed throughout, and some people are told they need more time.
That is the rarest sentence in this entire industry. Most trainings sell a certificate that arrives with the plane ticket home.
You should be screening them too. Ask how many people are in the room. Ask who is teaching and for how long they have carried this. Ask what happens after the training ends, because integration is not a bonus feature. Ask whether they will tell you no.
A training that cannot say no to a paying applicant is not a training, it is a shop.
How do you tell a real training from a certificate?
Five things separate them, and none of them is the certificate.
Numbers. Small groups, or the teacher cannot see you.
Length. Days, not a weekend. The medicine does not compress.
Prerequisites. If anyone can enrol, nobody is being prepared.
The teacher's own lineage. How long, from whom, and are they still in relationship with the people who taught them.
What happens afterward. A training that ends when you fly home has taught you the easy half.

We are the venue, and we are not going to describe his program for him. It is on his site, in his words, and that is where the details belong.
Where does Lunita fit?
We hold the container.
Thirteen days in the jungle, forty minutes from Cancún, off grid on solar, water from the cenote under the property. Eight cabanas and one mini apartment, so the group stays small enough to be comfortable rather than tight. Food, transport, the temazcal, the quiet.
What that buys, practically, is that nobody is commuting to their own initiation. You are not leaving the container at night and re-entering it in the morning. For this work that is not a luxury detail, it is most of why it holds.
When is the next one?
The last one ran in April 2026.
The next is March 6 to 18, 2027, here at Lunita. Applications go through Blaine, and they begin with a health screening call rather than a payment page.
That is roughly eight months away, which is about right. You are going to spend that time getting ready either way.
Before you look for any training
Sit with the medicine more. Not once more, properly more, over time and with someone who knows you.
The people who come out of a training like this ready to serve are almost never the ones who arrived in a hurry. They are the ones who spent years being served, watched carefully, and only then asked whether it was theirs to carry.
This is a calling before it is a skill. The training teaches the skill. The calling has to already be there.
