HOST A RETREAT

Influencer & creator retreats

Every creator holds a community that wants more than a feed. They want a week in a room with the person they've followed for years. Influencer-led retreats have been one of the fastest-growing formats in wellness travel since 2022, and they work for a simple reason: twenty people, one creator, seven days, no algorithm in between.

Lunita hosts these as true co-creations: agencies and creators bring the audience and the vision; we bring the jungle, the team, and every logistic in between. This page is the business case, the models, and the math.

Why creator retreats work

Your audience is already asking. Followers increasingly want real-world time with the creators they trust, presence instead of posts. A retreat answers that directly, and the relationship it builds outlasts any campaign.

Easy to offer. With the operations handled (rooms, meals, transfers, program flow) what's left is the part creators are already good at: inviting their people and showing up fully.

Twenty people, on purpose. Lunita's ceiling is twenty guests. That scale is the product: everyone gets seen, trust compounds, and intimacy is why these retreats sell out and get talked about afterward.

Followers become a community. A week of shared meals, ceremonies, and jungle turns an audience into people who know each other, and who come back, bring friends, and carry the creator's brand into the world as advocates.

A growing market. The influencer-retreat segment has grown more than 20% annually since 2022 (WeTravel), inside an influencer industry projected at $31 to 32.5 billion for 2025 (Influencer Marketing Hub).

The content pays for itself. A retreat generates weeks of material: professional photography, candid video, testimonials, assets that outlive the event and feed sponsorships, launches, and the next retreat's promotion.

IN SHORT

70 to 90% of well-promoted retreat spots sell out within 30 days of launch (Eventbrite, 2024)

Micro-creators (10 to 50k followers) show the highest engagement-to-conversion ratios (WeTravel); mid-tier (50 to 500k) fill intimate groups fastest; top-tier talent runs multiple dates

9 to 12 months average booking lead time, with demand peaking January to March and September to November (WeTravel, 2023)

Micro vs. macro ROI studies consistently favor micro-creators on engagement and cost-efficiency (StackInfluence, 2025), which is exactly the scale a 20-guest retreat rewards

What the partnership covers

Promotion. Your retreat is featured on our website and shared with the Lunita community, newsletter and social channels, and we collaborate with aligned communities to extend reach. The complete documentation of every support stream: How we support you.

Co-creation. From the first call we design the program with you: the daily flow, the ceremonies, the balance of content moments and genuinely off-camera time, so the retreat reflects the creator's voice rather than a template.

On-site, you're never alone. A live-in manager, a professional chef, and a service team carry logistics, meals, and guest flow. The creator and agency do the one job nobody can do for them: be present with the community.

Two ways to collaborate

Shared Abundance, profit-sharing

A light deposit opens the dates. All participant payments pool; operational costs come out (the center, meals, transfers, and the creator's own travel and food); the net is split between Lunita and the agency or creator. Low risk, aligned incentives, built for micro and mid-tier creators testing the format.

Holding the Space, venue partnership

The agency or creator books Lunita outright on the standard rhythm: 25% to confirm, 25% midway, 50% two weeks before, and keeps all participant revenue. Full control, full upside, the natural fit for established creators ready to scale, including multiple dates a year.

Which model fits is usually obvious within one call.

The honest math

A 20-guest retreat priced in the common creator-retreat range of $2,500 to $4,000 per person grosses $50,000 to $80,000; after costs, net margins in this market typically land at 20 to 40%, shared under the first model, kept entirely under the second. Those are illustrative industry figures, not a quote: your numbers depend on pricing, program, and travel, which is what the post-call estimate is for.

And the asset nobody budgets for: the included Photoshoot: one flexible hour, designed by you, delivering 100+ professionally edited images within two weeks with free usage rights. For a creator, that's the next launch's content, included.

The four Sacred Gifts, included

Every hosted retreat carries four gifts at no cost: the Blessing Ceremony to open, the Photoshoot, the Tree Planting, and the Hug Ceremony to close, the one that ends an influencer retreat the way no afterparty can.

Why agencies choose Lunita

We open only a handful of creator partnerships each year: the property is nearly fully booked year-round, and intimacy is the product we protect. What agencies get in return: a 20-guest scale that creates genuine exclusivity, a partnership that carries logistics from vision to completion, overflow readiness (sold out? we add dates), a 4.9 average guest rating on Google and Tripadvisor, and a judgment-free, proudly LGBTQ+-friendly space where every community is welcomed as it arrives.

For agencies running the longer game: retreats extend a talent's lifetime value beyond sponsorship cycles, position the roster early in a fast-growing niche, convert one successful date into waitlists and annual gatherings, and produce evergreen content with every edition.

Questions we hear first

What's the business model for influencer retreats?
Two paths: profit-sharing (payments pool, costs deduct, including the creator's travel, and the net splits between Lunita and the partner) or venue partnership (book the property on the 25/25/50 rhythm, keep all participant revenue). Both are live at Lunita; the first call usually makes the choice obvious.
How much can a retreat realistically earn?
Illustratively: 20 guests at $2,500 to $4,000 each grosses $50,000 to $80,000, with market-typical net margins of 20 to 40%. Industry data shows 70 to 90% of well-promoted retreats selling out within 30 days, and successful dates tend to become series.
Which creators are best suited?
Wellness, lifestyle, travel, yoga, spirituality, and coaching niches convert best: audiences already seeking what a retreat delivers. Micro-creators (10 to 50k) convert at the highest rates on trust; bigger audiences fill faster and scale to multiple dates.
How much work falls on the agency?
The vision and the promotion. We carry rooms, meals, transfers, program logistics, and guest flow, add our own promotional reach on top of yours, and staff the week with a live-in team. Retreats become a revenue stream without becoming event management.
How far ahead should we book?
9 to 12 months: enough runway for promotion and waitlist management, aligned with the January to March and September to November demand peaks. Lunita's calendar fills early; the conversation should start before the content plan does.
What if the retreat sells out?
We add dates. The 20-guest ceiling protects each edition; the calendar handles the demand.
